TEACHING POSITIONS

In this class we have understand better what does it charge involves in the school community and the evolution of the meaning of each specific charge inside the school centre . Furthermore, we have delved into the implications and consequences that a good and bad management of each group could lead to the educational task.

I didn't know before this lesson how many charges do teachers have in the school. There are many groups of teachers developing different projects that many times students don't know and they are necessary for the school. Moreover, I have learnt the importance that the school council has nowadays, it is composed by all the educative community, including the director, head of studies the secretary, and representatives of the families, teachers students and a person from the town hall. They all work together to create an efficient Educational Programe.

What it was difficult for me to understand was how each group in the centre works. It is more complicated than I thought because there are many groups within the same school, where the teachers have different roles. For instance inside the teacher's board, one of them is elected to be during four years the Training Coordinator of the centre, who looks to improve teachers needs.

I have been researching and found a very interesting page that explains in detail the different roles of teachers.
Here I upload you the link:

I also found an image that I really like because it shows the different aspects of being a teacher

I also found very interesting what Learn Cains (2017) says about the importance of having a good school council. The means that under the regulations for membership of a School Council, there is an issue with the election of parent members due to the cohort change each term and the multiple schools involved. The Educational School Programe operates within requirements as to school strategic planning and within the state Department of Education and Training accountability system

I completely agree with him because if we want to have a good great leaders in our schools, is necessary that we take into account what the school council proposes and to consider the requirements that the educational program dictaminates.
